Our story

Why HETAS matters
HETAS is a UKAS-accredited certification body for solid fuel heating. HETAS registered installers have met the relevant HETAS registration requirements, including applicable training and assessment requirements, and are required to demonstrate compliance with relevant building regulations. Every installation we do is carried out by a HETAS registered engineer on our own team. We don't subcontract.
What we believe
- Honest advice first. A free survey means a real survey, not a sales pitch.
- Do it once, do it right. A stove is a 20-year investment. We install like it's going in our own home.
- Local matters. If something isn't right, we're half an hour away.
The team
Chad Reekie
Director
Chad runs Fife Stoves and still comes out to survey homes himself. Behind him is a small in-house team: the showroom staff in Kirkcaldy and our own fitters. We don't subcontract.
